One of Canada’s leading performers and advocates of new contemporary music, Nadia Francavilla is an accomplished recitalist and chamber musician, a devoted educator, and the founder of production company On the Edge Productions Inc.

Sharing your love of something with others is a unique human experience. Coming from a family of teachers, Nadia is devoted to guiding newer artists toward their own unique understanding of their craft.
Workshops
The only way to truly learn is by continual effort, trial and error. An experienced educator and facilitator, Nadia takes an interactive and exploratory approach to knowledge sharing in group settings.
Creative Collaboration
Nadia has a particular interest in commissioning and premiering new works from emerging composers. Meanwhile, collaborations with visual and multimedia artists shape her study of music as performance art.
About Nadia
A recognized leader in contemporary music.
A graduate of McGill University, Nadia received her musical training under the direction of Mauricio Fuks, Raphael Druian, and Joseph Silverstein.
Her orchestral and chamber music background includes l’Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Les Violons du Roy, Quatuor Arthur-LeBlanc, Quatuor Bozzini, Motion2, Atlantica, and Moineaux D’Entendre.
She is Musician in Residence at UNB and teaches violin at Mount Allison University.
